Read It For You!

This is the first ever Percy Jackson book about the Titans, and starts to get into the whole plot of the series, so look carefully.

A ton of new characters are in the Titan’s Curse, so before I get into it, remember these:

Thalia, is the daughter of Zeus leading into some “misconceptions” with Percy, a son of Poseidon. She was rescued by Luke and Annabeth when she was a young girl. The three were attacked by a cyclops, and before killing Thalia, Zeus turned her into a tree, the sacred camp tree. She was then revived when Percy returned the fleece to the tree.

Zoe is a daughter of Atlas, and is the lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis. She was also a Hesperide, the daughters that guard The Tree of Hera. She convinced Bianca to join the hunters. She and Thalia have a rivalry, as Thalia turned down becoming a hunter and insulting them. Eventually they do make amends.

This will start slowly, but if you keeping reading, it will eventually speed up.

Percy finds 2 new demigods, Nico and Bianca. There they are attacked by a manticore, a half lion, half man. They are rescued by Artemis but Annabeth plunges into the sea with the Manticore. They ride on Apollos chariot to Camp-Half Blood, where they get ready for the capture the flag game with real weapons. There, the Oracle comes and tells them to go west to free artemis. Percy, Thalia, Zoe, Bianca and Grover go.

They head to a mall and are attacked by The Nemean Lion at the space center. They subdue the monster by feeding it “space food” and then shooting it with arrows, killing it. They take a truck and go to a junkyard and are met by Aphrodite, who says basically nothing to them, talking about Percy finding Annabeth.The group are attacked by Talos, a giant bronze statue. Bianca then sacrifices herself by destroying Talos.

They then go to the Hoover Dam where they are again attacked, but by skeletons. After fending them off, they retreat to a bronze statue who flies them to San Francisco, where they are taken by a Ophiotaurus, a Cow-Fish who Percy can talk to, to where Artemis and Annabeth is kept. Zoe is killed by a dragon and it is revealed that Atlas is Zoe’s father. They defeat Luke and his men, and restore Atlas to hold the sky. After saving Annabeth and Artemis they all return home.

Now, look at Bianca saving the group, by taking her own life and how Zoe died fighting her father and ultimately saved everyone. Draw on that how you should always do what is right, even if it costs you something. Always:
